Towing a trailer is easy. Just step on the gas pedal and away you go. It's STOPPING, TURNING RIGHT/TURNING LEFT, BACKING UP, BACKING AROUND A CORNER that's the hard part.
There are some excellent videos on YouTube on how to do all this. I don't care where you go, I can guarantee that you're going to have to do all of the above on that trip.
Go get the cones, go find a nice empty parking lot and practice all of it after watching the videos.
Understand how trailer brakes work, how to go down a grade without turning the truck/trailer into projectiles. It's not hard, it just takes practice.
And don't forget to pay attention to the HEIGHT of the trailer when you pull in for gas or THE DRIVE THRU WINDOWS! :D
