How do you interpret the results from the husky calculator? Specifically the tongue weight. I know it's just a guide and getting the actual weight at scales is the only way to truly know. I played with the calculator using 2 different trailer specs and I ending up with the same tongue weight which us over my max. One trailer has a tongue weight of 1070 and the other has a tongue weight of 680 (dry weight per the manufacturer websites). What am i doing wrong?
I did notice that leaving the tank fields empty (simulating empty tanks)seems to give me passable numbers with either trailer. I'm pretty sure 9/10 times I wouldn't drive with full tanks but I'm not sure if I should act on that when choosing.
