I bought a 2003 V10 4.30 in 2010. Wanted the 7.3 but could not justify the $25,000 they were getting for one with 150,000 on the odometer. Picked mine up for $10,000 with 78,000 miles on it when gas was just over $4 per gallon.
Would like to hear what you had to give for that 2000 7.3. That looks like a great rig!
Just having a little fun here! It's a great rig.
People tend to claim that the Excursion with the diesel is the best towing SUV ever. My 2002 2500 Suburban with the 8.1 liter engine has a higher cargo capacity and a higher tow rating than that Excursion. While the diesel is a plus the ratings are a minus IMO.
