2002 Aerolite Cub 236

We recently purchased a 2002 Aerolite Cub hybrid and we are still figuring things out on it. I've searched the web for an owners manual without any luck. The camper is in very good condition and I want to keep it that way. I was wanting to know what type of rubber roof it has so that I use the proper cleaning and treatment materials on it. Any help would be welcomed.
  • When I bought my Rockwood ROO, there was a very general RV manual that applied to many RVs including motorized units, then oddly enough, in the same envelop there was a slew of manuals for the microwave oven, the CD player, the AC unit, the inverter, the hot water tank, fridge, stove, toilet, heated mattresses, tent canvas, vinyl siding, roof material and axles. Each showed instructions and parts lists as well as warranty terms. Makes for interesting reading on rainy days at the campground ;-)

Best would to find out which company supplied the roof for that year model and brand, and go from there. It's probably the same supplier for many different models and brands.
  • I've used this for 12 yrs on my 99 Aerolite and continue to use on my present Jayco.

  • Back in 2005, when first started shopping for a hybrid, the DW loved the counterspace. Only one or two floorplans came close to the 236.

not sure why you just didn't go to Aerolite's website cause they've always had their manuals online, even archived manuals/brochures.

just don't expect much info specific to your Cub. nearly all RV manufacturers only provide a generic owners manual.
  • With a few exceptions most TT's are virtually identical in how they work and how they are maintained. I have only had my TT for about seven months and the information I have gathered on this site has taught me the basics and much, much more. Research the library, try RVGeeks on youtube and go play around. Remember, you didn't buy the Space Shuttle. If you guys are reasonably handy it won't take long to get up to speed.
