I think it would help if you looked on the paperwork and detailed what was done when it was bulletproofed. There is a lot of latitude in that term. I have read where some pulled out the head bolts one at a time and replaced them with studs and considered it "bulletproofed". In my case my heads were removed and sent out to machine shop to check for cracks and flatness and condition of valve train. I had Ford head gasket replaced (mines wasn't blown), ARP studs properly torqued and turbo checked/replaced (vanes chipped), updated oil cooler, EGR deleted (you could install a BP EGR cooler), coolant flush (to remove sand from casting and coolant particulates), and a coolant filter installed with ELC coolant (no silicates). My engine was removed from bay and taken apart and any component or sensor not up to snuff replaced so it went beyond the normal weaknesses and included injectors (4 bad on fuel side) and HPOP (missing oil screen in valley) and most sensors since mines had over 200K. Interesting enough my shop and Bill at powerstroke.com on You.tube say many of their customers had improper bulletproofing done at other shops so check the details.
