If it checks out and appears to have been taken care of, sounds like a good deal. My fiver of that same year was well built and has given me no problems. As for the warranty, that's a personal decision. If you're comfortable with diy, you might save the money. But peace of mind is worth something. If you consider it, read the fine print as some of those warranties exclude alot. Good luck!
