Never had any issues with mine - traded for a 2011 for the added GVWR. Mine only had 68,000 miles on it. No overheating problems - though some have. Kept it stock except for a Silverline 4" T304 SS CAT back exhaust to let it breathe better.
I traded my 2004 for a 2005 3500 SRW for the LLY engine, slightly increased GVWR and the crew cab - the LB7's had injector issues and got a great deal on a trade in.
