- bikendanExplorerjust realize that Dutchmen has a terrible rep in helping owners of used Kodiak and Cub hybrids.
if you find anything wrong, don't expect any help from them.
since you don't specify what area of the US you live, can't say what a good price would be.
it differs regionally. out West, that might be a fair price but in the Midwest, that's too much to pay.
just saying you live in the USA doesn't help. - poppin_freshExplorer$8k might be a fair price, but make sure it was taken care of and is leak free. Any camper that has not been cared for can turn into a huge (expensive) project very fast.
I would check out the roof and make sure the caulking has been tended too over the years. Missing caulking or large cracks that could allow water in should raise a red flag.
Also be sure to check around the bunk ends for soft areas and make sure they haven't been a source of water intrusion. The cargo area under the front bunk is a great place to look for water stains for that bunk.
FYI, I have a 2005 hybrid (Starcraft) that is leak free after all these years, so it is possible, just be diligent when you inspect. - babamarthaExplorerI have an '09 Kodiak 160 SVT and love it. It's a well-made, comfortable camper. It's short on storage space, but I've adapted.
I just spent two months living in mine in Florida. No complaints.
