2006 5.4 F150 to 2015 6.2 F250
Later this week my 2015 F250 goes in for 5000 service
Iwent from a 9 yr old F150 to a new F250.
the six speed is great,as is the tow haul.The 4wd is a lot smoother,the electronic rear axle is outstanding.With the camper I get about.9 mpg less,13.3vs 12.4. Empty I avg 15-16,with one drive from Casa Grande to Yuma I got 17.2 @ 68mph.
the comparison is with the same camper.Although the rig is about 1000
lbs. heavier,I was hoping the new 6.2 would get the same mpg.I did get the truck for about 5,000 less than a 2015 HD would have cost.
The truck came with sno plow pac and with over 1500 pounds it is still level with no squatWith camper range is about 400 miles and 500 empty
