I too have never found any water. I did have the WIF light come on once after a heavy storm, but light went out after a couple of miles so it was probably just some moisture on the sensor.

Every couple thousand miles on my 04.5 (when I remember) Change with every second oil change
(about 10-12K miles)
I went too long the last time,the lite went on and draining would not turn it off.Two bottles of HEET did the trick,changed filters at the next stop,along with an early oil change.

Sadly not as often as I should.
Drain until there is no more water.
Injector failure.
Do you have the updated fuel filter canister or the original one?
