Can anyone tell me if there is a problem with the 2009 Dodge 3500? My son is looking at one and he was advised by someone who works in a Dodge dealership that he should avoid that actual model and year. Thanks.

Don't own one but certainly haven't heard of any specific issues with 09 Rams and I spend way too much time on this forum & believe me, if there was something to it, it would've come up here on rventhusiastswithtoomuchfreetime.net

They had some turbo sooting problems early on with the 6.7. I far as I know it was pretty much fixed with software fixes.That's pretty much it IMHO.

We have just under 60,000 miles on ours, and nothing so far except for normal service. Mileage is iffy, but it pulls really well.

Your in Canada. Delete the EPA emissions equipment so it doesnt choke on its own soot and it will be a winner.
