2010-2012 Ram question
My left knee hurts a lot and my wife can't drive a stick so I'm thinking of switching to a 10-12 CTD... and no newer. I've been reading a lot and I was told the 12 has an IBC that works with hydraulic...

Yes rated for 17k, 200 pounds either way depending on configuration. Payload ranges from 3.8k to 4.5k on the SRW 3500 diesels.
3.42s as other poster stated only option for SRWs but the Aisin has a VERY low 1st gear so will get just about anything moving (I have a tandem dually axle Big Tex I used to put a big backhoe & skid steer on to move around sites...private roads so the weight police can relax!)
I loved my 2016 and will be ordering the same spec again once I get the right price for a 2018 Ram. The Cummins/Aisin is such a great tow rig.
