2011 Duramax vs 2016 Cummins
I currently have a 2011 GMC 2500HD 4x4, Crew cab with the Duramax Diesel engine and Allison transmission. The truck has 155k miles on it and I am looking at the 2016 Ram 2500's with the Cummins diesel...

Currently the only axle ratio available with the Cummins in the SRW trucks is 3.42. To get 3.73 or 4.10 you have to go with a DRW 3500.
This is true. From the factory, you can have the gears swapped aftermarket.
