2011 Duramax vs 2016 Cummins
I currently have a 2011 GMC 2500HD 4x4, Crew cab with the Duramax Diesel engine and Allison transmission. The truck has 155k miles on it and I am looking at the 2016 Ram 2500's with the Cummins diesel...

I would go with #2 without a doubt. Consider a 3500 though if you need the extra payload or could upgrade your trailer in the future.
