The question that was asked of why anyone would buy a 2500 for a 5th wheel is inaccurate. It should be why would anyone buy a srw 3500 over a 2500. If you need more truck than a 2500 you need a dually.

I don't agree. I think it is insane that 2500 trucks are manufactured. The 2500's should have heavy enough rear springs to be able to handle the weight carry capacity of the SRW truck. The 2500 should replace the 3500 SRW. A 3500 should automatically get duals.
