Sounds almost like the fuel pump but not quite as loud. It will humm IndefinTely until the key is removed but only sometimes.
Too much electric chit on these new trucks! Lol
My wife's new Equinox does a similar fuel pump type noise but under the hood. On for 3 or 4 seconds then off for 3 or 4 seconds then repeats. I don't know how long this noise lasts as I got bored and went in the house. Gremlins I suspect.
