The act of removing a trans is not a big deal if done by a competent tech. The issue becomes are they taking short cuts to save time and make more money.
Keep in mind after three like repairs you can request a lemon law replacement. Maybe have a talk with the owner and shop manager and express your concerns. Also make sure they open a new repair order each and every time. Do not let them use the old order!
