2011 Jayco 25BHS underbelly

Hey.. I'm looking at this travel trailer (second hand of course). I have to go back up and look at it as I havent' seen it since before winter. Something I vaguely remember is the underbelly seemed a bit "lumpy". I'm not sure how this year/model underbelly is suppose to look, and what to look out for if it is a bit lumpy.. I'm heading back to look at this in the next day or so, so I can take a few pics and let you guys have a look.

Just looking for some expertise on the underbelly...

  • Most are a bit lumpy, look at similar models to compare. Be sure that the edges are secure and not pulled away from the frame.
  • We have the TT in signature, picked up just two months ago...the belly covering is wavy rather than taut...

This one seems more protective that what was on our last trailer..that one just had mesh fabric like what might be used for a screened porch, whereas this one is a thick plastic sheeting of some sort
  • If it is the corrugated plastic sheets (coroplast) it is normal for them to sag between attachment points. They are usually just screwed around the edges along the frame rails and don't have proper frame support in the middles.
  • I have a 27BH which is different, but the underbelly is bumpy as well. The tanks are thicker than the frame so there is a bulge where each tank (fresh, gray, black) is mounted. I'm going to guess that what you are seeing is normal.
