2012 6.7 powerstroke

I had a 2011 6.7, and now a 2014 6.7. They are awesome trucks with an awesome engine. My 2011 was one of the first on the lot when the 6.7 was introduced. I had no problems with the truck. The 2012 should make a great truck as long as it will pull the load you have for it. I traded because I needed DRW.

I,D look hard at a 15,wait for there employee pricing,quite a few good improvements on the 15 including the Better exhaust brake which is a must if your towing fairly heavy,hopefully a better HPFP than the earlier models.I just purchased a 2015 GMC 3500 and put extended bumper to bumper warranty on,these new trucks are scary expensive if anything goes wrong.

I have a 2012 F350, bought it in February with 21k on it and it now has 35k with no issues other than oil and tires. Previous owner had Banks dual exhaust and tuner put into it, so when I am towing either camper or work trailers, I don't realize there is anything attached. I am not getting the milage of previous poster. I am more around 10mpg towing and 16-18mpg regular driving, but both have been in hilly and rural roads. I did get close to 20mpg on interstate without camper going 75-80mph.

I have a 2012 and it is one heck of a truck. I pull 14K+ 5th wheel and there are times that I have to look to make sure it is still there. So far with 18K miles pulling the trailer, I am averaging 14mpg. Without the trailer I am looking at between 19 and 22 mpg. I also think that one can not upgrade the 2012 to the 2015 version as they have changed a lot on the top of the engine and also the turbo. At least that is what I have been told and read on other forums. I would get the 2012 if I were you and save the depreciation of the 2015.

The 2014 already took the hit on its initial depreciation. You will take the hit on the new 2015. So money wise the 2014 would be a better option if the truck meets your needs. I drive a GMC but from what I've heard is the PSD 6.7 is a good engine. I would love to have one as a they look awesome but wife will not let buy another Ford after the last two had major issues. Don't hesitate too long on the 2014, if it is the same here it will go fast. Good luck and happy camping.
