No one arguing that performance point! The point being made is that if the CP4.2 injection pump fails Ford has been blaming it on the user fueling and demanding 10.5 to 11k to bail the truck out. In constrast GM quietly fixes them.

Why would a knowledgeable consumer expose themselves to that liability?

If a person wants a truck with a CP4.2 pump and a warranty that the manufacture will honor, then GM is the better choice vs Ford. If you want a more reliable CP3 pump then RAM is the choice.

It is hard to believe after the 6.0 and the 6.4 that Ford is not just fixing this silently like GM!

And that is why so many say the 7.3 was the last good Powerstroke!

You'll be impressed the towing capabilities of the 6.7 psd and it's fuel economy compared to your 6.0 psd.

I upgraded from a '05 to '12 Super Duty and I'm really impressed with the new powertrain.
