It isn't looking like a cheap fix yet. On the way to the dealer which is 80 miles from me, a few miles out I was coming down a hill in town at 40 mph with the exhaust brake on which I always have on to full auto. It quit working. As I got to the bottom, I got caught by the stop light. Never done that before. When I went to leave, truck had no power almost like limp mode. Then it straightened out and I got to the dealer. No check engine light, but they did pull a turbo code. Lots of possibilities here. Can anyone tell me what electronic part controls the exhaust brake? Is it the BCM? This is what I was originally taking it in for because of switch problems with the TH and exhaust switch not turning on at start up and also sound going away from everything. Long story there. Could explain the clatter, poor mileage, however I have no loss of power or turbo. Sticky actuator? Who knows
