Dealer DEMOS are not titled and I'm sure they would have told him it was a demo. It is a SOLD vehicle " It was only in service for one month and sold new by them.". Could have been they wanted to upgrade to a 3500 maybe. We have a member that drove a 2012 Ram for about a month or so then traded it in on a 2013 Ram.
Buy back vehicles can be resold but have to be disclosed only if required by you State. My Ford buy back went to Indiana to be sold, nice job Ford. Happens all the time all over, If it were me I would make the dealer disclose the former owner and contact them before buying it. I sure wouldn't pay anything close to $50,000 for a previously titled vehicle. They are going to be sitting on that truck for a LLLOOOOONNNNNGGGG time at that price.
Wait for the 2014's then go back and offer them $30,000, if they don't sell it by a new one. Let me new if you do and I will give/get you a Friends and Family number.
