It's organized by a guy named Howard Elmer - a popular TV auto magazine host (motoringtv and others). He's their "truck guy" as like most latte sipping dweebs from Onatrio (Toronto) :B, they think trucks are "too big and use much more gas than our Prius" types.
They turn to Mr. Elmer to test the trucks. The typical hosts are more into Camry's and BMW sedans. I once heard them say they couldn't really see a use for a 2500/3500 series truck unless you owned a "Horse farm" or something. I guess that's Ontario speak for what we in the west call a "RANCH" :).
