The ecoboost is incredible at merging. Every comment so far says how far superior to the 5.o the eco is above 20 mph.
The only negative I have seen on this thread is some people think it has turbo lag off the line and up to about 1500 rpm. How long does it take to hit 1500 rpm if you idle at 700? 1/4 of a second?
It is like merging with a very quiet 69 GTO.
This thing can squirt from 30 to 70 in nothing flat.
Tows great too. I certainly haven't had any low end power problems towing with it, and I'm getting too old for drag racing it on the streets.
Seems like a great engine to me.
