2014 ford expedition tow mirrors

I just bought a new jayco jay flight 24FBS to tow with my 2014 Expedition (with the tow package) and I think I'll need an after market side mirror, the dealers price is way too much for the Ford adjustable mirrors. I'm wondering which models work best for my espy?
  • well your probably not on a budget like me, truck given to me and a used FW, couldn't see a thing when I took it home. looked around for something inexpensive. found what I feel are some really good strap on towing mirrors at advanced auto parts. $30 bucks a side. yep strap on, they actually had nice ratchet system to tighten them and I just finished up my first long haul and was very please. of course I was thinking of my budget also. if any of you look at these pay the extra $10 bucks a piece for the ratchet style they worked very nice.

  • I use the Milenco Grand Aero mirrors on my 2013 Expy. Quick and easy to mount and best of all, they fold in with the existing mirrors. Optics are good but not great--noticeably more distortion than the OEM mirrors. Overall, I am satisfied with them.

  • There are no great custom options for the Expy. The JR Products Aero 2 and Grand Aero are probably your best options.

Some people like the McKesh mirrorw, but I have a couple issues with them. They look like 1950's design on my 2000s vehicle. They do not break away, so easy to bump when parking, or even at campsite. I fear the straps will scratch my paint. But almost every owner loves them anyway!
