I agree with you. For $1500 upgrade it seems like a no brainer. Especially if you are going to be any type of hauling/towing. Which if you are buying a HD truck I think you'd want more payload/towing capacity.
The problem I've seen is the availability. I found tons of trucks with the 5.7 Hemi in my trim. Only a few with the 6.4L...
