On the 1500, the Eco light is not an exact indicator either.
- For it to be in 4cyl mode, you have to be in Eco mode
- But just because it's in Eco mode, doesn't necessarily mean it's in 4 cyl mode
In my 3.21 geared truck, 4 cyl almost never kicks in when cruising in top gear. But the Eco lights is still lit, and I get between 9 to 10 L/100km at 100 km/h.
