For towing a side door is desireable to many. Also many of the side door TCs today give you a rear slide out with alternative seating.
This is a TC that works with a SB truck.
There is only 1 TC for SB trucks with a rear slide out and that better be a 1 ton.
Look at what a side entry does for a SB TC. Loss of counter space or something else.
With a rear entry camper and occasional towing, I applied rough non-slip step tape to the trailer tongue. It makes a pretty good step.
