They are identical except for the trim level and the chunk they take out of your pocket book. It is like how in the old days the Buick sedans and the Cadillac sedans would share the same engine, drive train, etc. but the Cadillac sold for far more money to status conscious customers/suckers.
People routinely pay $20,000 more for a GM Denali than the price for a Chevy 2500 LT truck which is a lot to pay for leather seats that have AC and heating for their occupants. It is money that the owners will never get back in terms of higher resale value.
