I'd much rather have a turned-down 8.3 than a maxed-out 6.7, for commercial duty application.
Cummins doesn't rate the 6.7 anywhere near those numbers, in other commercial applications. Thier Dodge pickup rating is inflated, due to much less severe service duty expected in pickups, versus commercial use, and of course, the king-of-the-hill needs of the Dodge marketing department.
