I'm with you. I never opened my rear window on my '09 F-150 since I bought it. Nor on the F-150 before that one. Unfortunately they package too many options together so we have to pay for them whether we want all of them or not. I hate a lot of flashy chrome too, but to get other options I really want, I am forced to accept the chrome package as well.
