Stopped by the ford dealer today they had 3 2015 F-150s in stock 2 3.5 ecoboost and a 5.0 all xlt trim. I was suprised the payload of the 3.5's was 1920 lbs. 1920 for a standard payload truck they did...

For all practical purposes, that is the same as my Silverado 4X2, regular cab 2500HD at 3,400 pounds and people often haul truck campers up to 4,000 pounds with them. Pity the folks who buy any old F-150 because they hear that they can haul over 3,000 pounds. The devil is in the details and fine print.
Yep. It is the customer's place to know what he / she is buying. Research has to be done before you walk on to the lot. It's your money. You better know what you are buying. Don't see what you need. Walk away.
