In comparing the specs on the 2014 and 2015 HD it looks like Ford reduced the GVWR from 8200 to 7850, however, by reducing the base curb weight on the SuperCrew 4x4 by a little over 700 the payload numbers are up another 340.
FWIW my 2012 HD came in with a payload sticker showing 2176 vs the spec sheet max of 2330. I weigh in at 6000+/- so think these are good numbers. Expect danager will likely be enjoying a payload of 2500 or so with the HD SuperCrew he ordered. Pretty respectable number. And a nice looking truck too.
