Ok; you asked in your first post if anybody has heard of changes on the 15 Ford Powerstroke engine.

I said in my first post: "Heard about updating stuff on this engine? Sure."

And then went on to explain why they made those changes on the 15 model engine.

With the turbo it was a design problem, and that was causing reliability and performance problems in the earlier years. They are fixing that design problem that was causing problems. Good for FMC!

Then I explained why they are fixing the exhaust brake. It was the weakest in the bunch and customers were complaining about that. They are fixing that customer complaint problem.

Same thing with the EB button. The other two had it and their customers wanted it too. FMC listened and gave them their button. Good for FMC!

In short FMC is fixing things that are hurting sales. They are now fixing those things to sell more trucks. Good for FMC!

LOL, I'm not excited and am very relaxed.

Like I said, you asked and I told you what is going on. I have many tech friends, on line and in person that love to tell me about their jobs and what they deal with. When there is a common problem they tell me about them. This is the reason I know about the common problems from ALL manufactures, not just Ford.

You asked about the 6.7 and I was glad to give you that information. Most don't have a clue what problems engine have. They always have the "well mine works fine so it must be a great engine thinking."

If you would have asked about the 6.5 or the LBZ, 7.3 or LB7 I would have gladly given you that info also. Some have lots of serious problems, some don't.

Get it? If not; no big deal, you got what you paid for. :B
