Please name this dealer or at least give a link to their website. Also, the name of your buddy would be helpful as well. I can guarantee you that their contract will be terminated soon if they service Ford and Rams out of the same shop.
I am not sure what you are implying or did not understand in his post. Multi brand dealers are nothing new. My hometown has a Ford Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealer and I am close friends with the family. I don't know if they have a separate service building for each brands service dept. But Fish says the dealer he is referring to does. So your either did not understand that part or you are clearly incorrect that a dealer cannot own multiple brand franchises.
