2015 GMC 2500 Diesel Double Cab 4x4 6.6ft Bed PAYLOAD

Thought I would share my Payload reconciliation. The brochure says this Dbl Cab, diesel, 4x4 config is rated 3,010# payload. The truck's delivered yellow sticker in the door jam says 2,515#. So since...

Why is the GVWR not equal to the combination of the FAWR plus the RAWR? The GMC 2500 has RAWR of 6200 and FAWR of 5200. Added together that is 11400, but the same sticker also specifies GVWR as 10000, not 11400 as one would think. What happened to the missing 1400?
