2015 GMC 2500 Diesel Double Cab 4x4 6.6ft Bed PAYLOAD

Thought I would share my Payload reconciliation. The brochure says this Dbl Cab, diesel, 4x4 config is rated 3,010# payload. The truck's delivered yellow sticker in the door jam says 2,515#. So since...

How do you know this? My understanding is NHTSA requires the Tire and Loading sticker to be the the weight of the vehicle as equipped from the factory full of all fluids.
