Just some light refreshing (Mainly new grills available). 2017 and 2018 are the new model years for the 1500 and HD trucks respectively. - dshelleyExplorerImpressive, but according to a few contributors who seem to often remind us of it's inferiority due to government loans and/or manufacturing locations, I expected it to fall completely apart on the way up. Perhaps the constant praise by the video crew is warranted after all.
Again, impressive. - estesbubbaExplorerFinally watched the video and pretty happy with my decision to order my 3500 SRW with Cummins and 68RFE.
- Bionic_ManExplorerI am surprised it did that with what looked to be so little effort.
$61k for a 4x2 truck is hard to take though. - estesbubbaExplorerAre there any known changes from 2015 to 2016?
- TargaExplorerSure would be nice if they would have something like...oh I don't know, a 5.0 V8 Cummin's as a lower cost option in the 2500 series...:B.
- Ill wait till after Wednesday's report to see the winner between Ford and Dodge..
Spoiler alert - Dodge will win. only 30 seconds difference and less than 1/2 mpg per lie o meter
Its a shame GM would not give a truck to toss in the mix... - ib516Explorer IIThey say clearly in the video (which you must not have watched) that they were provided the truck. I don't know where you're getting your info from but I've yet to see a 2016 Ram truck anywhere on the web or otherwise.
- goducks10ExplorerPretty impressive run. My guess is it might be in the top two for their best towing truck contest.
- GordonThreeExplorerI doubt TFL buys any of the trucks they review, they're provided free by dealers or manufacturers. FCA has been walking the 2016 2500 around the review circuit, I imagine TFL will get a whack at it soon enough.
