Did you have the ''snow plow package''?
yes, Heavy Duty Snowplow prep group which as far as I can tell from order slips is 220-Amp Alternator & Transfer Case Skid Plate
Every Dodge/Ram with the snowplow package has that sticker about a TC and it has nothing to do with payload or suspension. - towproExplorer

I do know my 2015 Ram 3500 Long bed, 4wd, Dually, club cab (not the air bag system) came with this slip of paper in the glove box that says "this truck is not recommenced for use with a slide-in camper"
Sheesh! What are they thinking?? I know I was stunned when my 2014 Ram1500 squatted 6" under the "massive" weight (1000 lbs +/-) of my stripped-down popup TC - but surely your truck could handle my camper....LOL!!!!
(For anyone else with a newer Wimpy Ram; the "sausage" air bags that slide inside the rear coil springs made all the difference)

I wonder if that is because they only want Slide-in campers used with auto level now?
I do know Ram body builders website rates it for some where over 4K lbs slide-in camper, but I was still disappointed to see that piece of paper (since I bought it for a slide-in camper)
My 2014 WAS recommended for a slide in camper, also not the air bag system. Slip says, going from memory here, something like 4600 pound max payload for a camper.
Also, regarded billtex's post. I also do not know of anyone with the air bag system and truck camper.
But user Cummins12V98 has the air bag system on his new Ram, and is towing a very heavy pin weight Mobile Suites Elite fifth wheel with it. He has posted photos hooked up and truck riding completely level. - Deb_and_Ed_MExplorer II

Would this be a good thing to have or a negative with a TC? Anyone with real life experience with this and a 5000 pound TC? It is "auto leveling", is there a way to over ride the "auto" control?
This does seem to be the million $ question around here.
AFAIK, no one here has put a TC on one of the new Rams with air suspension.
Who'll be first?!
