So, let's throw some stones at the testing. I honestly think this was one of the less informative tests tht they have done. The dash camera wasn't really angled so you could make out much of what was going on.
The only time they talked about the speed they maintained was at the bottom of the hill. I would have been interested to see how fast they were going at the very top where it is steepest. My truck crests between 40 - 45 MPH with just my 5er (12,000 pounds), and slows down around 5 MPH if I add my 5000 pound boat.
Other tests they talked about engine and tranny temp. Never heard that here.
I would also like to have seen the decent, and how the exhaust brake worked. From the looks of the test, there must have been an accident going the other way, as the traffic west bound looked stacked up in all 3 lanes.
My prediction for when they run the Ford? The Ford will make it up the hill in less time.
