2015 Silveradoes and Sierras

Well, if you heard it was in an article I would suggest you get and read the article.
Otherwise who knows. I haven't heard anything. I think most of those consumer reports type reviews, at least of trucks, are pretty useless. They tend to down grade trucks for things like "dated" styling (whatever that means). Not having lumbar support, not having leather wrapped this and that, not having a cushy ride and a sports car like handling, etc.

When a post starts out "I heard" or "Someone told me" you just have to cringe a little.

I haven't heard of any major issues.

I heard a major problem in these trucks is when your kids are individually streaming movies on your 4G hotspot and use all the free 3 Gigs of data.

The HD's seem to have gone on a selling spree in my area, I only know of a couple guys that have the 1500's but countless that have bought HD's. My circle is mostly contractors so that is the reason. I have not heard anything negative, as was the reason I bought a 3500. I only have 200 miles on it so, I cant comment on reliability. I can only say that it is so far about 100 percent more pleasant to drive than my '12 was.

No issues that I am aware of. Funny my local GM dealer called me just a few months ago to get me trade my truck back in for a new one. I just bought my current truck there within 2 years ago.. Of course I said no. It seems like everybody is buying them up at least around here.

When I subscribed to Consumer Reports I got a survey every year. I always embellished the imports-especially Toyota. If you read by answers you would thing that Toyota was the biggest piece of just ever produced. Never owned a Toyota.

I think it is just as any poll. Ones who have a particular vehicle and have always favored it would give a positive review. Some who don't like a particular brand will denigrate it. I think that may be especially true with the GM twins and their other vehicles. Many still are bitter about the bailout.

Never listen to these consumer magazines when it comes to trucks or sporty cars. They hate every thing that doesn t get 35 MPG. I won t rely on the opinions of some granola crunching hippy when it comes time to purchasing any vehicle.

I like my truck-no problems at 26K miles. Biggest problem with diesels is the high pressure fuel pump made by Bosh. If it blows it is like grenade going off in your fuel system-sends metal everywhere. Ford also has this problem. GM is standing behind their trucks and fixing it. If you would have to pay the bill the estimate is $15,000.00 Good luck.

Know a couple of friends that have bought them. They love the trucks !! Lots on roads around here.
