- tegu69ExplorerI would rather have the 707 hp Challenger Hellcat, but alas, Its just not practical for me... Hmmm, maybe a toy hauler for me?
- DadoffourgirlsExplorerI will get to see this Camaro tomorrow. Was busy on Saturday and could not make it to Belle Isle.

For you gear heads.... 455hp and 455ft/lbs are some impressive numbers for being naturally aspirated.

Australian Engineered Camaro previous modelredesigned version of Chevrolet's Australian-engineered Camaro will appear in the latest Transformers movie this week.
- kw_00ExplorerI really like the first generation 60s camaros. Been looking at the 2010 and up RS SS with the 6.2 and 6 speed... Just goto wait till the truck gets paid off.....lol
- Me_AgainExplorer IIIWell silly me, I traded this in on the Camaro. Hot 283 Crane Cam, 1.94 heads, headers and AFB, T10 and 4:11's. Again debadged and body straight as an arrow. Had 3:36's when I bought it from my brother in the summer of 1967 when I returned from SE Asia. I changed the gears while on leave the first summer home. 4:11's worked a lot better with the close ratio T10. All I can say now is "Plays with Trucks"! I think I have a hat that my granddaughter gave me that says just that!

Birth of the Camaro 1967!
Wish I still had my 67 SS 350, with rally headlights & hood and debadged. 295HP 10.25 compress ratio, Muncie wide ratio, 3.23 gears and Bose 8T Stereo. VV Mono Leaf rear springs VV, 68 brought a better rear suspension. Bought it in 68 while in the Coast Guard and sold it in the early 70's. Drats!

In the late '60's I had a '67 Camaro RS coupe, with the 327 V8 and 4 speed Muncie. I know exactly what you mean about that mono leaf rear suspension. That axle used to jackhammer on hard starts. I also didn't care for the GM shifter, although a Hurst shifter would improve things. Did I mention the 9.5 inch drum brakes ?
Other than those things, I really liked my '67 Camaro RS. There's only a few vehicles I've had, that I still wish I had. That Camaro was one, another was my '62 Volvo PV544s (Sport), with the B18s engine.
I actually wouldn't mind having a 2016 Camaro...the 3.6 liter V6 engine would do just fine for me. - ScottGNomadThe interior of the Camaro is far nicer but the body of the Mustang is better looking to me and it's lighter too.
- Fast_MoparExplorerThe 2016 Camaro looks great. Better than the 2015 Mustang, in my opinion.
