Thanks Mark, couldn't I just make up an 7-pin extension if needed to plug into the 7 pin in the drivers side rear?
Well YES, I suppose you could. I'm just used to a forward outlet and added one to my new truck. The cord I have is 6' or there abouts. Long enough to plug into a forward jack but not long enough to plug into the one on the bumper.
BTW: Please check with Keith at NL as I've never heard of the "fastgun requirement" before. (I have heard of the mat requirement) I too have the less expensive springed turnbuckles and they work just fine.
