Was talking to the mechanic that did the updates on my truck about tuners and he said they are overlooking tuners if they are only used for towing, but, he said the downside to that is that if you break down and the truck goes to a different dealer then you might have a tough time getting repairs made due to having a tuner. So I'm thinking for me, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
