How many times does one person need to hear the same "facts" about warranty over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over???? Until they agree with you? What if they don't care, like the OP, even after you stated your "facts"?
I think these grown ups(or "newbies" as you call them) in this forum are capable of making their own decisions and do not need to be chastised every time they make a decision you do not agree with.
