Or how about Billy liked this one cuz it fit his butt better and John liked the other one because of how it sounds when going down the road. Very few people in this world buy because of how fast it can go up a hill or the mpg it gets.
It seem you are hitting the nail on the head.
That is why so many buy 150/1500's to pull big TT, because they ride better when not towing! :S
When truth be told they should be buying the TV that will provide the capacity to safely tow their trailer with their family in it.
Maybe what the FLT should test some time is the Davis Dam run with each of the big three towing their max rated capacity. - nevadanickExplorerOr how about Billy liked this one cuz it fit his butt better and John liked the other one because of how it sounds when going down the road. - Me_AgainExplorer IIIThis king of the mountain is pretty silly given that all three will pull VERY LARGE loads up passes faster that road conditions and traffic will allow for 99.99 percent of us.
If they wanted to do some useful testing for us, how about focusing on MPG while towing in the mountains and the flats. But heck, those will be very similar also!!
So how about long term reliability and cost of ownership testing???? Average trade in value at similar age and mileage????

Probably distance between frame rails that makes the puck distance different. No 2 mfg are going to be the same in that respect.
Don't the pucks ride above the frame rails? I don't think there is a technical reason to vary the puck location. It varies either due to exclusive marketing or patents on the spacing and fasteners. - shepstoneExplorerNice looking truck, I like F250/350 first then GMC/ Chevrolet a very close second, followed by .. well I don't want to hurt anyones feelings .. ;)

I'd say thats pretty impressive from a six year old platform with no updates to the power train, I think the Ram has had three updates to the power train since 2013. It will be interesting to see what the 2017 Dmax will lay down...
My GM's have been great towing machines and have never given me any issues, I am going to stick with what works for me.
IMHO the GMC is much better looking than the Chevy. Nice looking truck!
I agree that's a very nice truck....- Cummins12V98Explorer III
