The smartest thing they did was dumping the crappy fuel pump. Performance wise I'd bet the new Dmax will be first to the top. Tho I'm of the opinion they all have plenty of power for most applications. I've got the slowest of the three and am perfectly happy going up and down the mountains we have out west.
