I'm sure that will be the tipping point for the Troller. Next time we see a post from him, it will be introducing his new RAM....... :)
Guess, I was wrong! Do not see the chrome group on the Ram build app. Chris
In 2016, (maybe 2017 as well) the King ranch offers a Monochromatic package. They delete the two tone down the side and put chrome bumpers on the truck. So you pay extra for the two tone paint on the King Ranch and then pay extra extra to have them delete it. I disliked having 6 different interior colors in my 2011 KR. On the other hand the light interior was much nicer to get into on a hot day as compared to my black Platinum interior.. The wood grain on the top of the steering wheel of the Platinum gets so hot you can't touch it on a hot day.
In '12 both the king ranch and long horn were only available with painted bumpers, but now u can get them with chrome with the single color paint.- 4x4ordExplorer III

I like the single color interior of my platinum, but do hate the painted bumpers. I stood on the ford lot with 2 identical optioned trucks one a platinum the other KR, the KR would have been $2k cheaper, but my wife was so against the interior color.
Close second was the was ram limited, I loved the black on black stitching it had. - Me_AgainExplorer IIII believe the Long Horn has a chrome bumper option. Chris

Yeah gauges are fine. Mine are just like yours except says Limited where yours says Longhorn. It's the colors they use in the Longhorns I don't like. I don't like light colored interiors.
The Limited gauges are A LOT better than the Longhorn. Hell, even the Laramie gauges are better without all that tribal crud. I am with you on the light interior. Even without the tribal it makes me throw up in my mouth a little. Same with the King Ranch interior in the Fords.
The gauges on the King Ranch is exactly the same as a Lariat. I actually like the King Ranch/Long Horns but the painted bumpers is what kept me from buying one.- Here's another new video...
New design hitch receiver doesn't require weight distribution hitch
F350 rated at 32k lbs
F450 rated at 32.5 lbs
I also like the improved man step that's hidden inside the tail gate compared to my truck.
Enjoy...
Link - Cummins12V98Explorer IIII have towed some very long days in both my LongHorns, 10-12 hour days. The seats are very comfortable for sure. No comparison to my 98 Laramie SLT. The leather is actually softer on the 15 compared to the 11.
Bottom line it's nice to have options. - transamz9Explorer

That is why there are other brands and different trim levels. I personally find most Chrysler seating uncomfortable especially on long drives. Oddly enough, I find the lower level Chrysler seats much better for my behind.
I think the seats are comfortable I just think they are too high in the truck. With them all the way down they are higher than my 2005's all the way up. I like sitting low. Every time I get in I still try to lower the seat knowing dang well it's already all the way down. Heck, when I'm driving a semi, I leave all the air out of the seat. LOL! I still say the most comfortable seat I ever had in a truck is the 1993 F350 extended cab I had with the captains chairs with the 5 speed hand shaker and 7.3 Turbo (Pre-Powerstroke). I slept a many a mile behind the wheel of that truck. HAHAHA!!!
For me it seems like the seat bottom is just not the right length/depth for me. On the Jeep GC the seam between the side bolsters and the seat bottom pinch my legs. This is on the higher trim levels. I find the lower trim levels very comfortable. Some of these issues don't really present until after 4+ hours behind the wheel. And not everyone puts that much time in one sitting in their vehicles.
I've been known to drive 5 hours for Tacos. I've put my hours in. All butts are not alike so not every seat will be comfy. I personally loved the mid 2000's Chevy bucket seats. I hated the 2016's we drove. The Fords were good too but didn't like the interior lay out. The 2017 interior lay out looks a lot better. I actually looks like they took a picture of my 2016 and copied it.
