Well, maybe it's time for Ram to put together a 4500 pickup? They have copied a few other ideas from Ford, why not copy that idea as well. Competition between the two companies has been great for us consumers.
Regardless, the only difference between the Ford 350 and 450 is different tires, wheels, brakes and gear ratio's. Yes the spring pack and axles are different, but they won't get you up or down the Ike Gauntlet any faster. The two Ford models have the same engine, same calibration, same frame, and same everything else. If anything, the 450 is handicapped because it's a heavier due to the larger and heavier axles it runs.
Go ahead and put the 350 and 3500 against one another if the 450 badging makes people feel inferior. The winner will still be the same, just farther ahead of the 3500 this time around. ;)
