How much of a troll do you have to be to imply that overall the 6.0 Powerstroke was/is more reliable than a 5.9 Cummins?
Anecdotal experience aside, there is just no way to defend that. Sure, there absolutely were 6.0's that were reliable. And I know there were some 5.9's that were not. But the fact is that the 6.0 cost Ford BILLIONS in warranty. That isn't the case with the 5.9.
Just look at resale values. That should tell you something right there.
But, when you buy a truck that was bombed, used hard, and put away wet, you might have problems. And when you (or your neighbors, sisters, hair dresser's Facebook friend) told you that........... Oh, never mind.
